Vintage 1930's Ampro 16mm Silent Precision Projector /with custom case #B2200

For sale is this vintage fully functioning Ampro 16mm silent movie projector. I have put this machine thru it's paces. All items check out as working. Film advance is working with it's variable speed drive motor. Rewind is OK. The projector has a 2" f/2 projection lens which is clean and shows no haze or fungus. Unit comes with it's deluxe original wood case with nice soft purple velvet interior. Also includes two (2) additional main drive belts. The one on the machine at present is working but it shows a fair amount of wear so a change to one of those newer belts looks to me to be in order. Now...there is one very distinct "issue" that is affecting this projector at present...the original lamp that came with this unit (a Mazda 12.5Amp/20Volt) has burned out...I have placed a CZX (500watt/120volt) lamp in this unit. Yes, it fits fine and works, but...this projector is "putting out" only 20volts...not the 120 volts the lamp requires...so the lamp is rather very, very dim...but working!!! (note photos). I have searched the many, many projector lamps that supposedly can be used on a Ampro 16mm projector, but, know that they made many different models over the years of this type of projector. Many suggested lamps either won't fit and at the same time are ALL 115-120 volt specific...they won't give you any real brightness...even if they fit into the lamp holder. I simply am pointing out that you will have to do a good internet search to find the right lamp to replace the one that was originally with this machine. I have included it with this unit so you can have something to go by when tracking down a lamp that will let you project some of those great old 16mm movies that are up in the attic. The lamp in place now will let you see something, just be sure to make the image as small as possible and be in a TOTALLY dark room! Also, when running film thru the projector I will say it is a bit "chatty" as in it makes quite a bit of a clacking noise as the film is driven forward thru the projector. Not really a deal breaker as most projectors of this era are a bit noisy to operate.
